Immediate Need in Luton or Edinburgh

Short Term Study Leader UK region - a contract to stand in for someone and babysit projects underway with CROs and local staffing in the UK. If you are not proximal to either office but very proficient in theTA of diabetes or oncology a home working role may be considered.

There is flexibility with the role for the right candidate, can be office based at either Edinburgh or Luton, home-based working would be considered.

Working for the Diabetes or^Oncology TA Brand team you will set objectives for study team members (contracted and permanent staff or Clinical Research Organisations) to deliver agreed local clinical trials
Responsible for the delivery of Local Clinical trials to meet or exceed performance metrics
Lead the feasibility assessment of local trials
Accountable for efficient set up of critical study activities to agreed metrics
Accountable for managing the budgets of local studies
Act as the primary contact representing clinical research for the brand at brand team meetings as required
Deliver study reports to meet the needs of the publication strategy
Maximise market place impact of Local Clinical trials
Reporting of study progress/action plans/issues to meet internal customer issues

Key interactions with Brand Team (Brand Specialist, Brand Team Physician), Global Study Leaders, Clinical Research Regional Manager, Clinical Research Scientists, Primary/Specialist Care Clinical Leader, Regulatory Affairs

Qualifications:

Life science or allied degree
UK based experience managing trial conduct in the NHS
Significant experience in a broad range of clinical operations
Experience of the commercial UK pharmaceutical environment and the impact of clinical trials
Proven track record of clinical study delivery in a broad range of settings

This short term contract is a Day Rate contract you will need to supply a full home office set up to function remote from the main offices. The Day Rate also^requires you to supply a car. Rate ca £250 more for the perfect candidate who is available immediately.

You will have to undergo a security clearance for this role which take 7-10 working days.
