As a job seeker you soon discover that one of the most frustrating aspects of looking for work is when your CV disappears into the 'black hole' of applications and you never hear from it again. Unfortunately this was a problem common to many of the agencies I encountered, but was significantly absent from CSL.
What I found refreshing about CSL was the care taken to reliably and efficiently follow-up each stage of the application process and provide constructive criticism to the candidate. The first time I spoke to CSL I was interviewed thoroughly about my skills and experience and although there were no suitable vacancies at that time my details were kept on file. Within a couple of weeks, I was contacted again by the agent with details of a vacancy that matched my profile.
CSL efficiently organised each stage of the selection process providing both advice prior to interview and feedback from the company afterwards. The recruitment agent was extremely supportive throughout and assisted in final negotiation of the package when the all important job offer was on the table.
I am now working as European Medical Category Manager for Pifzer Consumer Healthcare, a role that CSL was instrumental in securing for me.
