Like most people who work in clinical trials I stumbled across this exciting career by chance, working as a Medical Technical Officer within a hospital. In this role my job description was similar to a Study Site Coordinator and I wanted to pursue my career and become a CRA. On speaking to numerous recruitment agencies I was told I didn't have the right experience to become a CRA and was either offered positions in other areas of clinical research, which wasn't what I was looking, or never contacted again. On approaching CSL I immediately noticed the difference and the consultants there offered me good advice and job positions which would lead into a CRA. Anyway two months down the line I have now acquired a CRA position through CSL. I would like to thank everyone for all their help, commitment and support I received from the moment I contacted CSL to the start of my new job.
