Senior Statistical Programmer -Observational Studies, based in Middlesex

This role will be based in Middlesex for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of extension beyond. Working within the observational studies group, the successful candidate will have prior experience with large databases and observational research. Knowledge specifically of epidemiology methods will be required.

As a Senior SAS Programmer your duties will include;
Epidemiology Programming using SAS
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
Advanced skills in program validation
Expert in output verification, with experience gained specifically from within the clinical research environment
Project planning and management


Essential^Skills & Qualifications Required

Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other subject with high statistical content
Statistical Programming using SAS v 9.1.3
Proven SAS programming expertise in the BASE, STAT, GRAPH, Macro and SQL modules
Experience with observational data sets is essential for this role.
Knowledge of working in a global environment would be an advantage
Team working
Significant relevant career experience

Software Competence Required

- Intermediate SWORD, - Intermediate EXCEL, - Intermediate Powerpoint
- SAS BASE, STAT, GRAPH, MACRO and SQL modules
