Senior SAS Programmer- Permanent role

My client is an award-winning CRO based in Berkshire. Due to phenomenal growth they are actively recruiting on a permanent basis.

Please note that although there may be scope to work occasionally from home, this is a fully office based role, although a core hour system is in place with this client.
My client is seeking talented Senior SAS Programmers, who are looking to progress their career with an award winning CRO. Since my client has a range of work, they are seeking candidates with a solid background in SAS, having gained considerable experience from within a clinical environment. They are able to consider candidates who have worked across a range of different phases and therapy areas.
Core technical experience should consist of
Proficiency to produce a range of tables, listings and graphs to support other programmers and statisticians
Ability to fully manipulate data as necessary.
Essential Skills & Qualifications Required
- BSc or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Life Sciences
Statistical Programming using SAS v9.1.3
- Proven SAS programming expertise in the BASE, STAT, GRAPH, Macro and SQL modules
- Familiarity with drug development life cycle and experience with the manipulation, analysis and reporting of clinical trials data (Full lifecycle experience)
- Knowledge of working closely with teams in remote locations would be an advantage
- Significant relevant career experience
Software Competence Required
- Intermediate MS WORD, - Intermediate EXCEL, - Intermediate Powerpoint

Hours: Full time (Core hour system available)
Location: Office based in Berkshire, with excellent transport links.
