Our client is a biopharmaceutical company, which develops, manufactures and commercialises immunobiotics, consisting of vaccines and therapeutics that assist the body's immune system to prevent or treat disease. Their products target infectious diseases and other medical conditions that have resulted in significant unmet or underserved public health needs. The current commercial product portfolio includes several compounds in Phase I and Phase II clinical development, plus two vaccine candidates^in preclinical development. This role is to oversee development projects, providing a professional and dedicated resource to develop and lead the existing Project Managers & Associate Directors. Your primary responsibility will be to provide project teams with strong strategic and technical guidance, to ensure that teams maintain updated target product profiles and regulatory strategies, to drive projects to achieve milestones according to product development plans, and to manage and appropriately communicate project scope changes, issues and risks.
Qualifications:
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Cell Biology or other related life science discipline.
Successful management of biologic vaccines, therapeutics and/or blood products from early development through to BLA submission and approval is essential.
A strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and decisionmaking skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the capability of interacting effectively with external contacts (including collaborators or partners, and contract organisations), and at every level within the Company.
The candidate should be fluentwith modern software applications that will be regularly used (MS Office, MS Project, etc.)
