Our client is a growing Japanese global pharmaceutical company with an excellent pipeline of products. They are an agile, entrepreneurial organization managed by an experienced team.

Primary duties
Overall planning of resource
Recruitment andmanagement of this resource
Proposal of all study budgets and management of these budgets to include re-forecasts throughout the year
Provision and maintenance of SOPs for the Group
Provision of training with respect to SOPS
Assessment and selection of CROs and Technical Service Providers in new geographical locations
Support, guidance and development for all direct reports
Improvement of group processes
Liaise closely with Heads / Directors of Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and Compliance, Marketing, Finance, and IT to agree on methods of work and lines of communication and to improve processes.
You will work very closely with Therapeutic Area Heads and Operational Heads to harmonise processes and ensure bi-regional studies are conducted efficiently.
Liaise with colleagues in Japan, US and globally with respect to clinical development programmes, corporate SOP drafting, review and finalisation and other global projects.
You will lead and participate^in other global initiatives in particular those related to system and process improvement and implementation.

Qualifications required
Science graduate
Higher degree in scientific discipline, business or project management preferred
Extensiveprevious experience in international management of clinical research teams
Demonstrated experience in developing operational structure and systems in a growing clinical organisation
