Our pharmaceutical client is seeking a graduate with some pharmaceutical industry experience to join them in drug safety. To be effective in this role, you must have knowledge of pharmacology, customer relationship skills and the ability to conduct literature search and use databases well.

Key duties
Receive details of spontaneous adverse events via telephone, letter or e-mail
Report details to the central case processing group withindefined time frames
Ensureappropriate levels of follow-up with reporters to fulfil all legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure all appropriate reports are distributed to regulatory authorities, Ethics Committees and investigators within regulatedtimeframes

Qualifications needed
Life sciences degree
Understanding of ABPI guidelines
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Good database or Excel skills

Our Ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous experience in a similar role in medical information or safety within the UK
High attention to detail
Excellent communications skills, specifically verbal
Quick learner
