Project Manager Medical Affairs
Permanent Position, Buckinghamshire
We're seeking an ambitious leader who enjoys autonomy and the scope arising when working within medical affairs in Late Phase and product lifecycle. In this role you will do a 360 degree role from protocol definition to publication and your remit will include KOL nurture and analysing market strategy in terms of new indications for use, patient populations and markets. This is a EAME regional role demanding competence in medical device project management within a more commercial setting.
Role:
Leading pharmaceutical company seeks an experienced Medical Affairs Project Manager to lead the management and oversight of non-regulatory and IIS studies to support the successful commercialisation of products in their health and medical products portfolio.
Key Activities
Identify and plan key studies to aid expansion of indications/generate data to support the use of key products in existing indications
Manage^studies to differentiate products from other treatment choices and competitors
Timeline and budget management
CRO Management
Dissemination of data generated by medical affairs studies at International Congresses
Co-ordinate release of study data to maximise utilisation by sales and regional teams
Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs and customers
Communicate Medical affairs strategy to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with regional and global teams
Essential Skills&Qualifications Required
BSc (or Equivalent) level qualification in a life science or related subject area
Previous experience of appraisal of clinical and scientific/IIS proposals and papers
Experience of the set up and management of late phase^clinical trials
Expertise in the management of medical device studies is a pre requisite
Excellent communications skills combined with experience of working in a matrix organisation
Highly organised individual with strong self starting skills and customer focus
Ability to travel
Software Competence Required
MS Office, MS Excel
