Introduction

A persuasive Senior Clinical Project Manager sought for the healthcare division of this Global Organisation. A role where your clinical project management and line management skills work in parallel and where your strategic input will be of immense value.

Job Summary

To lead a Clinical Affairs sub-team, providing operational clinical expertise to the commercial development of designated medicinal products through specification of clinical trial requirements, management of clinical trials and efficient application of the sub-team resources.
To assist the Global Clinical Manager (Healthcare), working alongside Medical, Marketing, Regulatory and Category R&D, to provide clinical^trial design input to help maximise commercial opportunities locally and globally.
To specialise in one or more of the healthcare brands, developing a deep understanding of the scientific principals behind clinical investigations for those brands.^
To assist the Global Clinical Manager (Healthcare) in developing an overall clinical strategy for the brand.
With other key personnel, to represent company in the external environment, working with CROs, KOLs, Regulators etc as required to optimise project development strategies.
To negotiate costs and manage payments for Clinical Trials in sub-team remit
Ability to manage own Projects /Clinical trials assigned to this role
Work within functional groups to manage business expectations and raise awareness of the likely chance of success of a given project.
Ability to communicate both successes and failures to the business, offer solutions / next steps as appropriate.

Essential Skills & Qualification

Higher educational qualifications in a scientific area
At least 5 years clinical development experience gained through the performance of medicinal, device or cosmetic clinical studies
Strong and well-developed leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement plans.
Able to develop and communicate argumentation in order to influence externally and internally.
Excellent attention to detail and able to fully complete all aspects of a project.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in order to influence externally and internally.
Strong and well developed motivational and interpersonal skills.
Capable of building strong working relationships and motivating teams to deliver outstanding results with or without hierarchical relationships.
Ability to prioritise within the role of clinical^project management.
Understanding of strategy and planning issues, consumer understanding, priority setting and project management OR Understanding priority setting and project management.
Excellent Presentation skills.
