Data Manager and Information Analyst - 3 month contract
NHS Setting in Brighton, East Sussex
Our clients central aim is to improve the speed, quality and integration of research in primary care, ultimately resulting in improvements in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care for their patients.
To develop the most efficient processes and data information flows to capture and record data relating to our clients research studies and research sites.
Manage^databases (Excel and Access) holding records of all our clients research studies (including information about study design, site and participant targets, study set-up and progress) and research sites (including information about research interests and capacity to do research)
Monitor data relating to our clients Research Sites Initiative (RSI), extracting and analysing data around performance to target of RSI practices
Run regular reports relating to our clients research studies and sites including patient recruitment data and study set-up data, creating pivot tables in MS Excel to extract relevant information for different delivery teams.
Analyse all reports to assess performance against targets, providing regular reports to the Network Managers and team
Liaise with our clients coordinating centre with regard to performance monitoring, data and mapping errors and issues
Work with our clients Coordinating centre to review and check reports for accuracy and to problem-solve errors/inaccuracies.
Significant previous experience within a Data Manager/Information Analyst capacity
Strong analytical skills
Advanced IT skills - high-level MS Excel in particular
Experience of working on research^studies and of clinical research issues
Ability to work independently and problem solve
Good communication skills
Some experience of performance monitoring would be very useful
A science degree is desirable
Software Competence: MS Excel & MS Access
Valid Driving License: Not Required
Working Language(s): English
