We are seeking an experienced medical sciences/information expert to take up an interim role at our client's Pharma UK HQ in Bedfordshire.

Role:

To act as the national brand technical expert and deliver the knowledge largely to internal customers, in order to meet commercial objectives. Optimise intelligent use of data by identifying, reviewing and developing recommendations from analysis of medical literature and data sources. Provide data for enhancing promotional material through the offering development cycle. Responsible for clinical competitor intelligence and disseminating to relevant internal parties. Provide a second specialist medical information support for all brand enquiries. Prepare and maintain all reference documents for brand and commercial products. Prepare and maintain Q&A documents for Brands as required in conjunction with Medical Affairs. Prepare Brand and commercial product(s) notifications in line with commercial strategy. Lead the development of clinicalsummaries for Medical Affairs, Brand Team and Field Force from recently published papers. Responsible for technical input for Market Access submissions for Brand(s). Responsible for preparing and maintaining Data on File for the UK market. Training relevant sales and medical teams on Brand technical knowledge. Responsible for technical input to company websites

Qualification & Skills:
Essential: Life science degree or appropriate professional qualifications. Experience of Medical Information. Experience of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Experience of cross-functional team working. Experience in Medical writing
Desirable: Healthcare professional qualification e.g. Nurse, Pharmacist. Technical expertise in the allocated therapy area. Awareness of NHS customer groups and other key customers. Familiarity with the ABPI Code of Practice. Proven presentation and communication skills
