Introduction
Our client is seeking several experienced clinical researchers to join their global team, working on products for arthritis, cardiovascular and metabolism, or osteoporosis. With an international reputation for the quality of their research, these roles will have responsibility for clinical trials in R and D and for marketed products. The roles will be based at the International HQ offices in Switzerland.
Summary of duties
Lead protocol development team
Contribute to clinical trial advisory boards and ensure that KOLs are attractedtowork with the company
Lead and matrix manage the global, multidisciplinary clinical trial teams to ensure all trial deliverables are met according to timelines, budget, quality standards and operational procedures
Develop outsourcing solutions in partnership with the global outsourcing team
Forecast trial staff needs, internal and external
Assign responsibilities to Clinical Managers, contribute to development and retention of staff
Contribute to the development of clinical sections ofregulatory documents
Ensure that all clinical team members follow company SOPs
Responsible for implementation of best practices and standards for trial management within the therapy area
Qualifications
At least a BSc Hons, and preferably a higher degree
Demonstrated experience in leading an international clinical R and D team from Phase II to product registration
Knowledge of rheumatology therapy area preferred
Previous experience of study budgeting and resource allocation
