Our client is applying its expertise in ion channel drug discovery to develop novel therapies to address areas of significant unmet medical need. The importance of ion channels in disease pathology is well established, however, due to inadequate discovery technologies, this class of targets has been under-exploited to date. Our client's proprietary ion channel capabilities address this problem and provide the Company with the tools to discover and develop novel and effective drug candidates forimportant underserved disorders. The Company has an emerging pipeline of drug candidates across a number of therapeutic areas such as trial fibrillation, pain, a variety of auto-immune disorders, overactive bladder, irritable bowel syndrome, canceras^well as a number of CNS disorders amongst many others.

Our client now seeks a Clinical Project manager to join their team on a permanent basis based in Cambridge. The purpose of this role would be to plan, manage and report on clinical project(s)^(Phase I-II) conducted on behalf of our client. The Clinical Project Manager will also be responsible for effective communication within the Company and other stake-holders, where appropriate, of the issues and actions related to the successful completion of the project(s).

The Idea candidate will have previous experience coordinating activities of clinical sites
Post graduate degree qualified in life science preferable
Clinical project manager, approx 5+ years prior experience
May be recruited from the clinical operations department of a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
Should be prepared to travel in Europe/US
