Interim contractor role based in Cheshire or Loughborough

A role in Project Co-ordination for all those industry professionals with competence in Prince methodology or Project managemenmt certification. If you don't have this but have clinical research expertise and have developed project plans you can be considered too. Lead delivery teams on behalf of the Clinical Project Team (CPT) or other non-drug project team and to provide expert project management skills to Clinical Development.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of experts in the planning and delivery of a nominated deliverable to time, budget, resource, and quality constraints on behalf of the Clinical Project Team or other non-drug project team. Lead cross-functional deliveryteams with responsibilities for clinical deliverables such as submission/approvals, or improvement projects. Lead the development of scenarios and options for clinical project delivery. Ensure global input to the clinical project deliverables. Develop, maintain, & leverage realistic, risk-managed plans, using the best delivery methods. Responsible for project budget; define total costs of a project, manage to those costs, and ensure the project completes within the approved budget. Secure appropriate resources in partnership with the regional managers and for the management of external sourcing relationships. Identify resource issues via the CPT's Monthly Planning & Review Process. Identify, prioritize, manage, and communicate risks and opportunities associated with the clinical project deliverables. Design and implement project communication plans. Regularly report project progress and issues effectively with key stakeholders, including the CPT, Global Project Team, Regional departments, and other governance teams. Provide project control by monitoring project performance vs. baseline to flag costs, timelines, resources, or risks falling outside agreed tolerances. Optimise the use of project management processes and systemswithin Clinical Development

Education and Experience
University degree (or equivalent), Valid experience from within the pharmaceutical industry or similar large multinational organization, Good understanding of all project management tools and processes, Good knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process at various phases of development. Project management certification is desirable
