Biotechnology project management role. Full span of development from bench to licensing. Global role, based in Berks, UK.
Introduction
Do you have a strong project management background in the development of vaccines or other biological products? Do you have formal project management expertise such as PMP or Six sigma certification? Do you have experience of taking a product through BLA or NDA submissions? If so, our client, has an permanent role that your skills could match.
This company has expertise in the development of bio-defence and therapeutic vaccines and has a major programme of work with government bodies. They are well-established and have US and European presence.
Job Summary
To do this role you will need to have: led the development of a biological product from discovery to clinical development; managed a team of technical leaders across all development disciplines; be familiar with project management methods and tools; have a biosciences degree andideally a higher degree; have evidence of leadership and communication skills on your CV.
Essential Skills & Qualification
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are necessary
Experience of project management in preclinical and early stage vaccine or drug development required
M.S. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, or other related life science required
Hands on expertise with MS Project required
Experience of budgeting highly desirable
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Six-Sigma or Lean training is highly desirable
