This is an international role working in Supplier Performance Management team in the Global Development Operations Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in working with internal customers and external suppliers to manage the Scope of Work process and associated financial commitments.
The role involves working with colleagues in the UK and US to request supplier proposals facilitating the finalization of detailed service descriptions (Scopes of Work)
Our client is looking for an individual who has built up a good knowledge of clinical trial operations through working in a CRO or through time spent in the pharmaceutical industry. You will be familiar with the practical, technical and financial aspects of contracting and vendor selection and enjoy managing relationships with external suppliers.
This exciting and fast-paced role will enable you to utilize the project management skills you have gained through substantial experience of working in an international, collaborative environment.
In addition you^will have the necessary inter-personal and communication skills to negotiate with, influence and manage people at all managerial levels. Working with colleagues internally and externally showing initiative and attention to detail and using your analytical skills to successfully control major projects.
Job Summary
Overseeing the execution of the corresponding financial commitment (Purchase Order)
Facilitate review of Scope of Work document (SoW) and associated costing
Request funds from^finance through CIARA process
Raise and facilitate electronic commitment request (Shopping Cart/Requisition)
Oversee PO execution
Monitor SoW throughout study and amend as appropriate, liaising and negotiating with supplier and internal customers
Facilitate and drive internal stakeholder meetings to consider currency of SoW (e.g. current spend vs. stage of study)
Facilitate the closure of the PO
