Administration Coordinator - 6 Month Rolling Contract
Major Biotech Company based in Cambridge
Introduction
Our client is a leading Fortune 500, Biotechnology Company. With headquarters in the USA, our client employs over 500 staff in their UK offices, located in Cambridge and Middlesex on both a permanent and contract basis.
A market leader, our client strives to develop products that change people's lives and in the last 30 years have transformed the management of anaemia, inflammation, and cancer. They have a thriving pipeline and are currently very active in recruiting candidates to join the team on a contract basis.
Our client is looking for an all-round administrator to work in a designated therapy area to support the daily running of the department. In this instrumental role you will need to be a great team player, reliable, flexible and a good communicator. You will also be expected to be proactive and organised in this busy, fulfilling and integral position.
Responsibilities include:
Finance - Raising and tracking Purchase Orders
Sharepoint - Ensure contracts/invoices are uploaded into the relevant Sharepoint folders.
Internal Meetings - Coordinate/organise the logistics for meetings e.g. booking of^meeting rooms and organisation of equipment, catering, etc.
Travel - Booking hotels and flights for all of our client’s departmental Sales Force
General Administration - Record all holiday and sickness and forward the relevant forms to HR.
Answer^telephone queries from hospitals re. outstanding payments
Essential Skills & Qualification
- BSc (or higher) in a related subject will be strongly advantageous
- Proficient in working with databases - must possess excellent IT skills
- In depth knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly across all levels
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Must be a team player, reliable, good communicator, flexible, proactive & organised
Supplementary Requirements:
- Software Competence: MS Office, Adobe, Database experience. Sharepoint
- Valid Driving License: Not Required
- Working Language(s): English
- Requirement for Business Travel: No
- Flexible Working Hours: No
